The project involved rehabilitation of Mkuranga-Kisiju gravel road through funding by DANIDA. The purpose of the study therefore was to establish the baseline condition before project implementation in terms its Socio-economic and Environmental conditions.
Thereafter by using the baseline conditions predict potential (positive & negative) impacts associated with the development project, and whenever possible propose mitigation measures for negative impacts.
