Mindful of the fact that family planning plays a central role in improving maternal health and preventing 188 million unintended pregnancies annually. Effective MNCH services require competent workers and sound health systems. With the emerging population dynamics, countries experience an increase in adolescents and youth, forcing health systems to increase efforts towards provision of health services geared towards adolescents and youth.
It is against this background that ECSA-HC through its College of Nursing (ECSACON) and the Ministry of Health Tanzania have partnered with Pathfinder International under USAID support to build capacity of Nurses, Midwives and nurse training institution tutors from the Republic of Tanzania. This is a two (2) weeks workshop.
